Mott Community College is hosting a COLLEGE NIGHT on October 29th from 6-7:30 pm at Ballenger Field House. A great opportunity to visit over 50 colleges & universities. They will have a financial workshop at 7pm and information on Dual Enrollment. GREAT Opportunity.

College Night @ Parent Teacher Conferences
During Parent/Teacher conferences this year, we will be hosting a college night. Area colleges will be here on Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm. This is a great time to stop by and gather some information regarding different colleges. Take advantage of this opportunity!
Attention Junior and Seniors – Now is the time to check out local colleges. Some local college representatives will be coming to our High School to give a presentation. Check out our college board in the career center for the latest colleges visiting our school.

Friends of the Davison Area Library Book Sale needs your help. Located at 203 E 4th St, Davison Michigan 48423. Duties for all shifts available - bagging books, counting books and adding up the cost, and answering occasional questions/directing questions to the volunteer in charge. See the shifts available in the career center.
Reminder, any summer community service hours, should be turned into the career center by October 9th to earn your hour.

The Davison Pumpkin Festival is looking for Volunteers for both Friday & Saturday Oct 9th & 10th. There will be a Volunteer Meeting, Tuesday Oct 6th at 6pm Downtown at Living Grace Community Church to go over the help we need. Students please contact Diana Millington at 810-931-0483. Great Pumpkin 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th at Cardinal Stadium. If you are interested in helping with this event, please sign up in the career center. Volunteers needed for the day to help with registration and help guide walkers/runners for the race.
Wonderfully Wicked Woods – October 24 from 11-6 to help with set up and tear down. Help with games, crafts, hand out candy, toys, snacks. Come dressed in kid friendly costumes. 15 volunteers need. Please sign up in career center.

Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery Test
Testing date is Thursday, October 29th starting at 7:30 a.m.
Reminder - this test does not have military obligation it is an Aptitude test - valuable for career exploration

What is TEEN QUEST?
Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce offers a pre-employability leadership training to high school students, who are currently 14-18 years of age and in grade 9-12 in the 2015/2016 school year. Successful completion of this training program will be your entry to apply to the 2016 Summer Youth Initiative Job Fair and access to other employment opportunities throughout the year.
Application’s available on career wall outside of career center. Completed applications should be returned to the career center.
